Gazing at the new Ghetto

It's as if Shanghai doesn't have enough places to catch the tiny pink citizen's population, the "origin of the origin" reopens as the old name disappears into Pink Home's neon lights. For the first half hour, get lost and be amused with the decor but be sure at the end of it you have had enough to drink because believe me, you'll need it!

Special thanks to Simone for the tasteful music, although a little bit of Moony would sure perk things up...

Fancy lights, fabulous music. The peeps? Don't ask, we still want to keep our social lives intact.

Most definitely, the few people that makes visiting more fun.

To Levitate or not to Levitate

So, this is the sino-german technology. . .not bad, not bad at all.

Barely made it on time. Soon as my ass warmed the seat, the tube started to gain speed. . .we were running at a speed of 440 km per hour hence getting there was a mere 8 minutes.

Awesome.

The "Thai-tais" of Shanghai

Once upon a time, we visited Thailand, the city of smiles..

and what's to smile about? The Hilton Arcadia Phuket.

It was too hot and humid coupled with the very spicy food, sweat sure would be your next episode.

Did we think we will go back soon?
No.

Did we have fun?
Sure, thanks to Paris.

Dilbert speaking..

I don't think I need to say more..

A Day with Julya

A lazy day before the holidays. The only remaining Stepford citizen in China. Oh, she's not a robot by the way.

The Hangzhou Experience

700 years ago, the artist Huang Gong-Wang painted a great landscape known as "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains". This became the inspiration behind Fuchun Resort. His masterly vision has been captured in the contemporary style of the resort, as dreamlike and tranquil as its reflection in the stillness of the lake. "One of the best new hotels in the world", wrote Conde Nast in May 2005.

Yes. We were there. The over flowing champagne, the cigarettes, the three hour unusual but very fabulous Balinese inspired massages, the tasteful Spanish wines from Catalan, the most sumptous food and exceptional hospitality in China. Drool because we got everything for free.

AVVN - A very velvety nightout

This is what happens when you mix people from all walks of life in a place called Velvet Lounge. Yeah yeah we know that Shanghai is one of the best party places in the world...can you tell us something we don't know yet?

Partnership

Nothing like a good ole' partnership they say. We stay, we manage, we argue and we laugh but surely, we would not do it any other way. Let's just say, we are normal people, NOT!
